Stochastic Sampling Algorithms: Heuristic Importance Sampling

The heuristic-importance sampling algorithm is described in (Shachter & Peot 1990). This algorithm controls the simulation to account for bias due to disproportional sampling of cases that represent the most probable hypotheses.
