The Help menu offers commands providing assistance to the user:

  • Help topics

The Help topics command invokes the on-line help that you are reading at the moment. To exit the on-line help, simply close its window. GeNIe on-line help is composed in HTML and is in addition to being distributed with the program available on the World Wide Web.

  • GeNIe Website

The GeNIe Website command will take you to the official GeNIe website http://genie.sis.pitt.edu/

  • Report a Bug

This command will take you to the GeNIe forum where users could report problems encountered while using the software, ask questions about the software or make suggestions related to GeNIe software.

  • Check for Updates

The Check for Updates command shows the following window :

It displays a link to download the latest version of the GeNIe module.

  • About GeNIe

The About GeNIe command shows the following simple window:

It displays the version number of this application and a copyright notice. You can visit the World Wide Web pages of the Decision Systems Laboratory and GeNIe. In addition, you can compose an Email message to GeNIe developers, such as a suggestion or an error report.
