GeNIe Workspace: Status Bar
From DSL
The Status bar is a horizontal bar located at the very bottom of the main GeNIe window. The Status bar shows a short description of the command to be executed by the selected menu item or a tool on a toolbar on the left side and lists the number of evidence nodes and target nodes present in the network on the right side.
To view the Status Bar select the Status Bar option from the View Menu in the Menu Bar. A check mark appears next to the menu item when the Status Bar is displayed.
If evidences or targets are set in the network by the user and any of the set evidence propagates the state of other related nodes, it will be indicated in the Status Bar as shown in the figure above. The text on the Status Bar " 2+1 evidence nodes" , indicates 2 real evidence and 1 propagated evidence. The text " No targets" indicates there are no target nodes in the current network.
On right clicking either the evidence tab or target tab on the status bar pane, you can view the corresponding list of set evidences / target nodes as shown in the figure above. Any propagated evidence will be listed with a suffix"[p]" . Clicking the node name will locate the node in the graph.
To locate the real evidences, hold the Ctrl key down and right click the evidence tab on Status bar.
To locate the propagated evidence, hold the Shift key down and right click the evidence tab on the Status Bar.
